Aydin Mehrage is a seasoned Pleasanton tutor and academic coach who began his career in 2009. He has worked with students across the Bay Area, including Livermore, San Ramon, Concord, Walnut Creek, and Redwood City. Aydin’s teaching background includes working with the UC Berkeley Summer TRIO program and helping launch three successful tutoring start-ups. Over the years, Aydin has taught students from age 3 to 43. He began with college-level instruction and gradually expanded to work with younger students, including reading tutoring for non-native English-speaking preschoolers. His work spans immigrant families, struggling learners, and high achievers alike. Starting at the university level, Aydin taught advanced college courses, and then worked down to younger students until he was teaching basic reading skills to 3 year old non-native English speakers. Whether it’s working with immigrant families or students who struggle to improve their study habits, he teaches with the belief that intelligence is built, not fixed, embracing a growth mindset in every session. Aydin develops customized study strategies for every student and trains his team weekly on effective academic coaching methods. Aydin is passionate about building the greatest teaching community to make academic achievement feel accessible.
